Bud Light Hands Its Fans Keys to the Bud Light Hotel

Bud Light is returning to the Super Bowl in February for the third annual Bud Light Hotel, a complete rebranding of a downtown Indianapolis hotel that will host the best parties, concerts and events leading up to Super Bowl XLVI. For it, the brand is launching an exclusive job offer among Bud Light Facebook fans.

Bud Light is seeking applicants through an open video casting call on its Facebook page to find the official Bud Light Hotel correspondent. The successful candidate will receive a salary from Bud Light to star in a series of exclusive videos for the brand’s Facebook and YouTube pages throughout the week, ranging from unique Super Bowl week experiences, to red carpet interviews and behind-the-scenes looks at the EA SPORTS and Playboy parties at the Bud Light Hotel.

We have more than two million Facebook fans engaging with us on a daily basis, and unfortunately, we don’t have room for all of them in Indianapolis,” said Mike Sundet, senior director, Bud Light. “But we do want to make sure they have a way to experience the Bud Light Hotel and all it has to offer. To do that, we’re hiring one of our own to be the eyes and ears of our fans and provide a behind-the-scenes look from Indy all weekend long.

Correspondent videos can be uploaded on the Bud Light Facebook page through January 20, 2012, and fans will be able to ‘like’ their favorite videos through a special tab. Candidates will be evaluated on both the overall quality of their submission, on-screen presence and how the Bud Light Facebook community responds to them.

The 180-room Bud Light Hotel will officially open its doors on February 2, 2012, at 105 S. Meridian Street in downtown Indianapolis. With a star-studded lineup of concerts and exclusive events, the Bud Light Hotel will once again establish itself as the place to party during Super Bowl.
