Bugatti, the luxury brand has introduced its super-premium pen. The motor vehicle company has commissioned Ferrari da Varese (which isn’t tied to Ferrari, the major rival of the auto producer) to create an exquisite item, which would fit into the general style of the brand.
The 15-cm and 95-gram roller ball and fountain limited edition pens are manufactured of first-rate materials — aluminum, nickel, sterling silver, palladium and platinum — and have a ruby, which symbolizes the brand’s logo. The nib of the pen is made of 18-kt gold and coated in rhodium, and the barrel features a sapphire glass window. Only 499 writing tools of both varieties will be available.
Each of the splendid Bugatti pen rests in a leather and aluminum case, and can be purchased for $15,000.
