Coca-Cola to present new bottles as homage to iconic electronic duo Daft Punk (and in partnership with them) as a new addition to the Club Coke portfolio, which already includes flamboyant designs by Justice & So_Me and Mika. The new bottles in gold and silver, without any pattern at all will be released in a limited-edition box in early March. The minimalistic and kind of futuristic space design is inspired by the appearance of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, who always perform in their helmets created with a high-tech twist.

The soft drinks brand and the French duo have also made a commercial to promote their new collaborative product. The ad will be released on French TV and radio on March 4, and so far club music and Coke fans can get an audio ‘sneak peek’ into the new advert with a kind of 57-sec trailer (it has only the soundtrack and the image of the upcoming bottles). The new product will be also featured on www.daftcoke.com, which will be soon launched and will provide detailed information on the release. According to Hypebeast.com, «the bottles will be… made available in exclusively through colette in Paris.»

The first brand the due collaborated with was Gap—the musicians wearing the brand’s jeans clothing were dancing in a simple commercial featuring the single ‘Digital Love,’ starred in a commercial for Sony Ericsson‘s Premini mobile phone, and appeared in the contagious ‘Star Wars’ ad for аdidas last year.
