Coca-Cola Celebrates Mexico’s Independence Bicentenary with New Limited-Edition Bottles

This year Coca-Cola has launched a new series of commemorative bottles for the Mexican market. The collection is dedicated to Mexico’s Independence Bicentenary and the 100 years of the Mexican Revolution. The set will include 32 bright designs, featuring the characters and objects, which in some way refer to this county’s culture.

The bottles are representing eight states, which were released during the revolution: Veracruz, Chihuahua, Guerrero, Baja California Sur, Tlaxcala, Tamaulipas, Sonora and Nayarit. The special edition bottles are available to purchase from January through September, and residents of each state can buy bottles with 2 to 5 designs each month.

The new designs will appear on the Coca-Cola Archives Facebook page right after they are unveiled.
