Courvoisier, the UK’s number one cognac, kicked off its «Revolutionary Spirit 2010» two-week festival in July for the Courvoisier The Future 500 members. The brand encouraged the conversation within the dedicated media hubs and invited its fans to take part in special events, arranged by brand in collaboration with its long-standing as well as new partners.
As a part of the Courvoisier Revolutionary Spirit 2010 celebration, the Bompas & Parr created a visual adventure «Courvoisier presents the Complete History of Food» in center of London. The team of culinary designers created a museum of mouth-watering food, which was leading its visitors through the medieval times and its cuisine up co to modern era and even to the future.
Then the brand invited its loyal consumers to come and see Punchdrunk Theatre’s opera transformation of John Webster’s Jacobean classic “The Duchess of Malfi” and take a look at the Napoleonic punch and pedal powered time machine by Circus Kinetica, unveiled at the Secret Garden Party.
The Courvoisier guests also could visit the Future gallery and sit there on the grass under the Mindapples tree and enjoy the other happy moments of epicure life like a light massage and perfect treats. The movies-goers could tap on Short&Sweet part of the celebration and have first ever 3D short film experience, from Short & Sweet, London’s unique weekly short film community, as well as listen to film directors, who were discussing the 3D film making techniques.
The events were not limited to those listed above. There was also art and music performance by renowned cellist and composer Peter Gregson and groundbreaking artist Jamie Shaw, live art installations at the Future Gallery and the Change Makers, event that brought entrepreneurs together to deliver a UK action plan to ignite the potential of enterprise.
