Danone Group Celebrates Its 15th Anniversary in Russia

Danone group, one of the leading dairy manufacturers on the global market, is celebrating its 15th anniversary of operating in Russia. It came to Russia in the early 90-ies, and the first branded store of the company was opened in 1992, and three years later the first Russian Danone factory was opened in Togliatti.

The first product manufactured at this factory was the Danone with Fruits yoghurt in plastic pots for eating with spoons. In 1998 Danone Russian started to make drinkable dairy products and kefir in in-house plastic bottles.

Today Danon is one of the leader on the Russian dairy market and produces various brands including Activia, Actimel, Rastishka, Danissimo, Danacor and Danone.
