While Diet Coke has recently celebrated its 30th birthday and confirmed that its limited-time look, introduced a year ago, will be permanent, rival Diet Pepsi is exploring the level of everyday fun among its female fans in the US.
The brand has found out that most women in the USA are craving fun in their life, and the brand is ready to deliver positive emotions with a new activation which is designed to make American ladies much happier.
The survey conducted by KRC Research on behalf of Diet Pepsi and Weber Shandwick revealed that three-quarters of women (72 %) say they would like to have more fun in their lives, while 56 percent believe that wearing cool accessories, clothing and cosmetics can make their life brighter. Diet Pepsi is responding to this demand by launching the Sip in Style Sweepstakes, which is to provide female consumers with the much-wanted items—the digital activity is fronted by the brand’s face, Sofia Vergara, who has been featured in a range of Diet Pepsi’s projects.

Through September 22, the brand is giving away lots of products, which can fill a women’s life with light and warmth—the gifts are ranging from lipsticks to a wardrobe makeover to be done by Sofia Vergara’s personal stylist along with a $1,000 certificate for shopping in NYC.
Here are a few highlights from the survey: in the West, women have more fun than women in other parts of the country (37% in the West say they have just enough fun each day, while only 28% of ladies in the South).
In addition to this, women revealed the best fun-delivering products for them— jewelry (45%) tops the list, followed by great shoes (27%) and bright lipstick or gloss (18%).
