FITCH Designs Retail Concept of the New Cooking Appliances Brand COOK HOUSE in Russia

IDEAS4RETAIL, operating in the non-food retail segment in Russia and co-founded by prominent businessmen Enveny Butman, the founder of ECS Group, and Alexandr Mamut, best known for founding the SUP Media company, is now launching a new retail brand of kitchen appliances called COOK HOUSE. This is the first own brand of the company, which has already been operating such franchisees as Imaginarium, Hamleys, Mamas & Papas in Russia.

Although the first COOK HOUSE store was opened back in May 2012 in Moscow, the brand has recently organised a press conference devoted to the launch of the flagship store which offers rather ‘value adding’ experience —Culinary School where cooking master classes for the customers will be held.

Design concept of the new retail space was developed by the UK brand and design agency FITCH.

Evgeny Butman commented, «We introduce some emotional brands to the Russian market. Newly launched Russian chain of cooking stores COOK HOUSE aims to create comfortable atmosphere for all who love cooking or dream of learning how to cook at home. We believe our mission is to encourage people to cook at home, to make them love it».

Alasdair Lennox, creative director at FITCH, added, «I’m sure that kitchen is the main space in the house, its soul and a source of good mood. We tried to reflect and visualize that in our design concept through the core element of the logo — the steam shaped like a heart, as well as through the warm colour palette and fun navigation through the store’s shelves».

At the moment there are 7 COOK HOUSE stores in Moscow and other big cities in different Russian regions. It is planned to open at least 50 stores across the country by the end of 2014.
