Glenfiddich Vintage Reserve 1977 and 1976 Come to Russia

The renowned Scotch distillery Glenfiddich has introduced two vintage limited-edition whisky varieties to the Russian consumers — Glenfiddich Vintage Reserve 1977 and Glenfiddich Vintage Reserve 1976.

Glenfiddich Vintage Reserve 1976 has all the characteristics of the great vintage Glenfiddich whisky with its many-sided, intriguing and fruit nature. On January 16, 1976 the barrel #516 was filled with new Glenfiddich spirit. Before that, the oak barrel had been used for making Spanish sherry. It was left aging in the wine cellar of the distillery for more than 31 years and finally acquired its elegant aroma with floral (violet) notes and featuring fresh mint, accompanied by a complicated blend of tropical fruit, pine apple, orange, apple and fresh pear notes.

Glenfiddich Vintage Reserve 1977 has been aging in the oak barrel #4414, which had been selected by the senior blending master of the Glenfiddich distillery since 1977. Before,  the barrel had been used for making oloroso sherry.

Now there are 36 bottles of Glenfiddich Vintage Reserve 1977 и 3 bottles of Glenfiddich Vintage Reserve 1976 available in Russia.
