Hallmark Australia employs Puppy Postman for printed cards sent through the HelloYou app

Hallmark is tugging on heartstrings with a new adorable activation featuring a sweet puppy. The popular greeting cards brand has launched new HelloYou:) app, which simplifies the process of sending cards, and promotes the new offering with a team of HelloYou:) Post Puppies.

The new campaign, developed by Naked Communications Melbourne, is highlighting the ultimate pleasure of sending postcards and sentiment of receiving it. The smartphone gets connected to the real-world mailboxes and makes it easier to share emotions in an old-fashioned “printed cards” way.

The brand invites consumers to download the HelloYou:) app, select the card or create it, and then mail the printed version to the loved ones. Some of the cards will be delivered by the world’s cutest postman, a Post Puppy wearing a uniform with a badge and mailbag, on nominated dates between July 21–August 8 August in selected Australian cities.

“We knew that once Australians understood how the HelloYou:) app worked they would fall in love with it as quickly as we did. So we recruited the cutest, most share-worthy little team to spread the word for us—a team of puppies dressed as posties doing actual HelloYou:) deliveries,” stated Tristan Graham, creative director of Naked Melbourne.
