For each of the Olympic Games the iconic beer brand is building its Holland Heineken House, which is the official national house of the Dutch Olympic Committee. The tradition is kept carefully, and this year in Vancouver from February 11 until February 28 the House is ready to invite guests again.
In this ‘home away from home’ constructed for sports fans and athletes, media representatives as well as sportsmen’s family members and coaches, every one who wants it can join the medal celebrations of the successful Dutch athletes and have a good time relaxing and tasting nice dinner.
The 5,000 square meters of the Minuro Arenas consists of two ice hockey rinks, which will be removed especially for this occasion. There will be arranged celebratory medal ceremonies for the successful Dutch athletes and great performances by Dutch artists and DJ’s hold every night during the Games. The House will host from 3,000 to 4,000 people each celebration night.
The House became really popular among Olympic Games fans. During the sport event in Turin it hosted 100,000 visitors and at the Beijing Olympics the House was happy to entertain 95,000 guests.
