Tomorrow Galleria illy will open its doors inside KaDaWe, the iconic department store in Berlin, and in a month it will come to Istanbul to be hosted at Foundation Feyziye Mektepleri’s Galleria Işık Teşvikiye in the Nişantaşı neighborhood, known as the Turkish capital’s cultural center. The brand is going to arrange events featuring tastemakers in art, literature, science, design and cuisine, who will have discussions with other visitors and taste coffee prepared by illy’s top baristas.

The list of personalities who will attend the Gallery in Berlin includes architect Matteo Thun, food designer Martì Guixè, writer Tilmann Ramstett, artist Carlo Bach and many others—they will have a conversation on the key topic of the event, “Everything happens for a reason,” with the other guests. The visitors of the space will also be invited to attend the course “From plant to cup” held by Università del caffè.

The interior design of the Gallery is based on artwork by Tobias Rehberger, who received award at the Leone d’Oro at the 53rd International Art Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia and also designed the illy Art Collection “Everything and Nothing” cup series.
