Kat Dennings Tells about Lipton Black Tea as a Source of Refreshment in a Series of Humorous Spots

Lipton has tapped American actress Kat Dennings for a series of online ads highlighting the black tea’s recharging power in a light-hearted humorous way. The new ‘Brighten Your Day with Lipton Tea’ spots sync with the brand’s campaign “Drink Positive” launched in the country earlier this year to promote the brand’s iconic black tea to young adults.

The series feature several vignettes showcasing how Kat has been trying to brighten up her day using some traditional approaches such as gardening, jogging and yoga. Unfortunately, each of these methods has a dark side, and finally she decides that drinking a cup of Lipton is the best and the least stressful way to re-energize. “Then I tried the delicious taste of Lipton Tea,” Kate sums up the results of her search for the best and the easiest way to uplift. “It brightens my day and I can do it without lifting a finger. OK, technically, I am lifting my whole hand, but you know what I mean.”

The promotion includes a longer 55-second video capturing all the tries to re-energize, as well as shorter 30-sec and 15-sec spots. The videos, which have already appeared on the brand’s YouTube channel, will be also airing across the AOL and Yahoo! networks and a selection of other web destinations this week.
