Kettle Potato Chips Are Crunch Proud

Kettle is the crunchiest potato chip and they have the website to prove it. Kettle Foods kicked off their “Crunch Proud” campaign with the opening of the website www.CrunchProud.com.

At this online spot, viewers are entertained by an interactive life-like character who said that they’d compared the sound of the Kettle crunch to a roaring lion, electric guitar, and monster truck. Users can also sign up for membership in “The Loud Food Club”, receive a $1 off coupon for Kettle Potato Chips, and enter a sweepstakes in which the winner will receive a supply of the brand’s chips for a year.

The unique campaign, created by Cultivator Advertising & Design out of Denver will be supported by point of purchase display cases in grocery markets, newspaper inserts, and social media networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

Membership in The Loud Food Club gets a viewer a helpful kit including an email disclaiming the loud crunching for a person to use at the office, a pictogram with instructions for appropriate crunching courtesy, a flag to put on a pencil, and caution signs for loud crunching.

The contest to win free potato chips for a year (15 bags per month) runs now through September 7 of this year. There is no purchase necessary to participate.
