Kraft Gets Consumers Tweet About Mac & Cheese

Kraft Foods, a brand known for picking the most unexpected and bold ideas for its promotional activity, has launched a new campaign for its renowned Kraft’s Macaroni and Cheese. This time the brand is trying to get as more consumers as possible play Jinx on Twitter and spread the word about its product using the potential of social media.

So, in accordance to the terms of the newly-introduced campaign, any time two people use the words «mac & cheese” in their tweet, they’ll each get a link pointing out the “Mac & Jinx”. The first one of the consumers to click the link and provide Kraft their address will be awarded with five free boxes of the product and a branded T-shirt.

The promotion campaign for Mac & Jinx developed by Crispin Porter + Bogusky seems to gain success as «Mac & Cheese» has become a trending topic on Twitter. According to mediabistro.com, about 1.5 American consumers have already used «Mac and Cheese» in their tweets.
