New Old Spice Spokesman Sets on Jungle Adventure to Promote Old Spice Danger Zone

Old Spice has hired a new Manly Man to promote the product Old Spice Danger Zone outside of the U.S. and star for its «Smell Like a Man, Man» campaign.

Wieden + Kennedy has already released a new video spot for Old Spice featuring the new spokesman, who’s setting into a real adventure. Nothing will stop him on his way to meet his beautiful lady. So, as he passes through the danger zone, he gets bitten by a snake, hit by a truck, eaten by a crocodile, and last but not least, piranhas in a jungle lake add the final touch… However, he makes a tremendous appearance in his opulent business jacket in front of his lady. He’s smelling so sweet she can’t even notice, the half of his body below his waist has been eaten to bones.

«Because even if something bad happens to you in danger zone, man, it won’t smell like something bad happened. And when you smell like Old Spice Danger Zone, trust me, you smell like you have nothing to worry about,» concludes the Manly Man at the end of spot.

The video contains a massive amount of visual effects, which is quite understood since putting the actor through the ‘Danger Zone’ in real life would be inhumane. The Mill was responsible for all VFX work.

Featuring the new face, new tagline and new writing — ‘The Jungle Wilderness’ spot surely refreshes the whole campaign.

The ad is aired outside of the U.S., which means Isaiah Mustafa has no competitors, at least for now. The good old Old Spice TV spots featuring him are broadcast in the United States.
