Pepsi Max Launched NFL Audible Program featuring Rap Stars ahead of Super Bowl XLV

Pepsi Max, the soda brand which has connected with the rap culture primarily through to its latest commercial featuring Snoop Dogg (still, Nike remains the most long-standing fan of this music style), has unveiled a new project created in collaboration with famous representatives of this movement. Ahead of Super Bowl XLV, Pepsi Max teamed up with a bunch of hip-hop and rap stars to develop new videos as part of the NFL Audible program.

A rooster of the musicians featured in 30-sec spots include Big Boi, B.o.B, Talib Kweli and Nick Javas among others, who are bringing the spirit of beat into the promotional project dedicated to the upcoming event. The webseries, which finish with the ‘Pepsi Max, Zero calories—Maximum taste’ tagline, highlight the playoff games, which are now underway to determine, which two teams are worth it to fight for the champion title. Each clip, which contains NFL Films footage and exclusive tracks, is dedicated to one of the games—for instance, B.o.B. is featured for the Falcons vs Packers game.

The videos can be watched on the website www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-pepsi-audible/—so far, there are five spots available to view, with the three first of them appeared on January 7. In his clip, Big Boi says “The seasons on the line so lace up your cleats,” and the tone of his voice leaves no doubts that it’s really so.
