P&G— the brand reported to have sold Pringles —has time to focus on all things pertaining to beauty and wellness. According to marketingweek.co.uk, Procter & Gamble has announced the launch of an online monthly covering the issues of beauty care and wellness and suggesting P&G’s products of different lineups as a solution in dealing with these issues.
The new magazine is entitled ‘Beauty Recommended’. Its tagline saying ‘Chosen by experts. Recommended by you’ perfectly reveals the format of the publication that offers a number of product features, tips and tricks, as well as reviews by beauty industry experts. As you understand, the brands featured on the pages of ‘Beauty Recommended’ include Olay, Max Factor, Pantène and, to widen the format of the publication, Chanel.
As well as other beauty-themed media for women, ‘Beauty Recommended’ will ‘wow’ the reader with a great deal of large-size color-rich photos and videos. Apart from tips offered by make-up and hair experts, the publication will feature stories on brand ambassadors. For instance, in the first issue, Cat Deeley «dishes her secrets», as the headline of the story has it. The magazine is also open for reader’s contributions. Consumers are welcome to review different products by P&G and share their feedback.
The first April issue is dedicated to makeover theme and may be viewed here.
The mission of the magazine is explained by Annabell Jones, editor-in-chief of ‘Beauty Recommended’.
