An integrated design agency Standout UK has launched a interactive digital campaign entitled ‘Thank You’ for household brand Quaker Oat So Simple aimed at engaging with communities across to the UK to discover and reward unsung local heroes.
The marketing campaign focuses on rewarding local heroes who make a difference in their community and often go unnoticed. This latest project from Standout UK builds on a successful microsite it recently created and launched for Quaker Oat So Simple the under a ‘We Love Winter’ theme.
The ‘Thank You’ microsite has been created using the latest technology to increase interaction and user ability. It features social networking technology integration to help create a user-generated content led portal to allow users to upload, nominate and interact with the brand.
The whole campaign is being supplemented with a dedicated national TV advertising programme which will run across January and celebrity endorsements which include current World Heavyweight Champion boxer David Haye, and actor Sean Bean, who kicked off the campaign by paying surprise visits to local heroes.
The Quaker Oat So Simple team will also support the campaign by travelling around the UK over the next few months thanking nominated people and rewarding them for their efforts.
