Red Bull is calling U.S. students to make some noise using the stationery they bring to university lectures. The brand has announced what it calls ‘Freestyle Drumming Competition for students’ aimed at turning the ultimate boredom of the classroom into a rhythmic hit.
All those with a sense of rhythm are welcome to participate in ‘Red Bull Tum Tum Pa’. The range of the instruments that may be used includes scissors, staplers, pens and pencils, books, erasers, and Red Bull cans.
The task is to create a team of up to four musicians and perform two melodies using your «instruments». The first composition should be a 60-second episode of a well-known hit, while the second one is supposed to be a rhythm composed by you, performed free style. For more detailed information pertaining to the rules of the competition, please visit Red Bull website. Here you will also find the schedule of the rehearsals and check out the video entries of the participants.
The best drummers will be awarded with the jury of the competition.
