Samsung to Launch the Galaxy S4 Mini

Samsung has announced the compact version of its latest flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone, the Galaxy S4 mini that comes as an alternative to a successful “parent” phone. The Galaxy S4 mini features a 4.3-inch qHD display, a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera.

The new device, weighing 107g vs. 130g of Galaxy S4, will preserve the sleek intuitive design and great performance of the bigger smartphone that was revealed in March. The device also provides 8GB of storage that can be expanded via microSD cards, so users will be able to keep quite a big amount of important data on the phone. The mini phone allows to share content easily, play games simultaneously, control their TVs through WatchON’s IR remote, use the S Health app to control their health and sports performance, and many more.

So far, the release date and pricing hasn’t been revealed. Most probably, Samsung will announce this information at a special press conference, Samsung Premiere 2013 in London, slated for June 20. Media quests and invited partners will be handed the Galaxy 4S mini to test the device at the conference and get a hands-on product experiences to share it with public in their reviews.
