Samsung Signs an Elephant to Promote Its Galaxy Note Smartphone

Samsung has launched an original video to promote its new Samsung Galaxy Note, a hybrid of smartphone and tablet. The device has a much bigger touch screen than a regular smartphone, so it reminds of a tablet.

The video spot starring an elephant is inspired by the idea that ‘bigger is better’, and follows the recent animal featuring videos in which the frog and lizard play with smartphones. Created by the Viral Factory, the spot starring Peter the elephant was shot in Thailand.

Samsung says that all footage is real, but since many viewers think it’s a fake they will upload some behind-the-scenes soon.

In February, the company was attracting attention to  the Galaxy Note by encouraging people to spread ‘Love Notes’.

Additionally, Samsung promotes its first dual SIM card smartphone, Galaxy Y Duos in Portugal inviting people to ‘explore their dual world’.

Created by a Lisbon-based digital agency, Excentric, the ‘Explore Your Dual World’ video in which the mind-expanding projection mapping technique to the face and thorax of a human. It features a man sitting in a chair and serving as screen for a colorful 3D effects-packed projection that is experimenting with different looks.
