The never-ending sea of Skittles-themed marketing absurd may have seen its most violent storm with the yesterday’s release of a viral video about Marshawn Lynch’s workout in the gym.
Better known to the American audience, Lynch aka Best Mode is a football player for the team Seattle Seahawks of the NFL, who was signed this year by the brand owner Mars as the Skittles brand ambassador before Super Bowl.
The hilarious video (see it below) follows two more traditional marketing efforts done in partnership with the athlete: the launch of limited-edition Skittles packs Seattle Mix in the U.S., and the mutual fundraising campaign for the family charity Fan 1st Family supported by Lynch.
