Tapping on the two most hot consumers trends—personalization and ubiquitousness of smartphone applications— adidas Originals together with the Swiss digital production agency Stopp have released a special app for customization of ZX FLUX trainers with a photo.

A user can download the #miZXFLUX app from App Store or Google Play, take a picture with an app or use an existing one, upload it, get a 3D preview and order customized training shoes for €150.

Stopp was responsible for the user experience, design and development of the app, which officially hit app stores August 2014.

#miadidas customization feature has been adidas Original’s unique selling point since 2013 with the launch of SneakerSwitch campaign. Earlier in May the brand released an app that allowed to print some Instagram pictures on ZX Flux trainers.
