Unilever Adds Innovations

The Unilever company is going to expand its share on the market with new products. Over the course of the next two years the giant will introduce a set of «big innovations». The campaign titled Genesis is starting in the beginning of the next year and will mainly run in 2011.

According to Genevieve Berger, the chief innovation officer, the Anglo-Dutch company is going to start next year «with personal care and have a clear road map of applications in other categoriesAs for now 17 programmes are under the wing of the giant and they are believed to bring great success to the big owner. The company’s innovation and R&D office based in London got €1 billion ($1.5bn) to refresh the brands.

The fruitful innovation strategy is what the producer of Rexona, Lipton, Knorr, Domestos, and Dove really needs now after a long period of economical crisis. The company hopes that the new policy will make No.1 on the global market.
