Wrangler Wants the British to ‘Stop Thinking’

Diesel is calling its fans to ‘be stupid,’ while Wrangler asks its aficionados to ‘stop thinking’ at all. In the new phase of its “We Are just Animals” campaign the brand wants people to participate in a range of top secret (as for now) extreme events, which will be arranged in the UK this September.

The participants of the upcoming celebration under the ‘non-thinking’ slogan are to have a valid passport, be healthy enough to pass a basic medical examination, be ready to be dragged in the very moment they get the notice, and, of course, stop thinking (at least, for some time). This will be in the fall, but you don’t need to wait until September to tap into the campaign, as yesterday, August 16, Wrangler also launched a mini-competition for those, who want to get more chances in the selection process.

The UK residents are invited to the dedicated website to sign up (only via Facebook Connect) and, if they want it, complete all three stages of Stop Thinking clues to win a special downloadable priority pass. This pass may give participants an advantage to ‘skip’ over another participant by way of queue jumping if it is printed and presented to a Wrangler representative at the meeting point on September 10.

The brand will select four participants who will undertake hazardous adventures (the events will be covered by insurance, but the winners will participate at their own risk).

Last fall Wrangler released an advert titled “Stop Thinking,” but now it has come to concrete actions, not just words. More details on the new phase will be provided in September though its Facebook fan page. Stay tuned in for updates.
