Amway North America announced that it has signed world class distance runner Kara Goucher to represent NUTRILITE® exclusively from Amway. The brand is a sponsor of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon series—races held in cities around the country that incorporate miles with music. Goucher will represent the brand at several of these races, speaking at race events, and appearing at the mobile brand experience during race weekend. Her name and likeness also will appear online and in print in various NUTRILITE marketing collateral.
“As a competitive runner and a new mom, I’m more conscious than ever about what my family and I put into our bodies,” says Goucher, who gave birth to her first child in September 2010. “The NUTRILITE brand controls the quality of its products very tightly, from seed to supplement, and I really relate to its pursuit to be the very best.”
Goucher will endorse the brand’s vitamins, minerals and dietary supplements, as well as sports nutrition and energy products, including protein bars, sports drinks and recovery products, like NUTRILITE Endurance Cubes.
