Cadbury has done it again creating beauty in advertising and this time with interpretive dance. Cadbury Flake, the British chocolate brand famous for its Flake Girls indulging in sensual moments of pleasure has launched a television commercial campaign which debuted on June 8th called “Unfold”.
The commercial was a recreation of the famed Kate Moss hologram from the Alexander McQueen Fall 2006 Fashion Show.
Unfold, created by Fallon and respected Director Baillie Walsh, featuring stunning Russian Model Yulia Lobova, the 18th Flake Girl (the first one was selected in 1959), is an interpretive dance depicting the flowing beautiful folds of chocolate that Cadbury Flake is famous for. In the commercial, the beautiful model is spinning ever so slowly and gracefully as the folds and the ruffles swirl around and delicately envelope her.
The sensational yellow dress was the masterpiece of designer Anthony Price crafted from 200 meters of georgette fabric over a three week period.
Cadbury Flake will open kiosk store named Ruffles and Folds in conjunction with Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. The gorgeous dress created by Price will be on display and shoppers are invited to enjoy a Cadbury Flake themed coffee.
Kate Harding, Trade Communications Manager at Cadbury UK, comments, “Cadbury Flake campaigns are truly iconic and this is no exception. By focusing on the uniquely beautiful Flake product itself we are confident this TV execution will drive desire for crumbly, flakey chocolate amongst our existing Flake consumers and attract new ones.»
