The virtual parade, hosted here and playable via Facebook and Twitter, invites the British public to join The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, and rally behind our Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls in the lead up to the greatest show on earth. Everyone who joins is entered into the ongoing weekly draw to win London 2012 tickets, courtesy of Cadbury Spots v Stripes.

Team GB and Paralympics GB supporters must choose a team—Cadbury Spots or Cadbury Stripes—before entering the Parade and using the in-built Avatar Builder to customise their own character. Completing the look, Keep Team GB Pumped Parade pulls in your profile picture from Facebook or Twitter—or select direct from your Facebook photo albums—to ensure life-like representation. Alternatively, you can hit the randomise button for some interesting results.

Once in, the all singing, all-dancing Parade is a magical experience that brings the nation closer to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Set against a London skyline backdrop, supporters march to the beat of the drum alongside Cadbury characters and the nation’s favourite chocolate bars.

Facebook friends and Twitter followers are pulled into the crowds to cheer on the procession through London’s streets. Users simply click on their profile picture to send a private message inviting them to join the Keep Team GB Pumped Parade. A personal photo album feature allows supporters to find and share hidden treats within the Parade on Facebook in return for points and Cadbury hampers. The team with the highest score at the end of the game wins 5,000 points for Spots or Stripes.
