Cheetos is encouraging its fans to defend the honour of their favourite varieties by fighting for them—literary. The brand invites internet users to join the Battle of the Cheetos, an online game, where you can combat for the snacks on Puffs or Crunchy side on the suggested battle fields.
The game is supported by a number of big websites, including Digg.com, Mashable.com, Break.com and many more. Participants are challenged with an ultimate task to take over as many online platforms in the name of their variety as possible.
As Cheetos writes in its sponsored posts across the internet, it is “an epic online battle unlike anything the World Wide Web has ever seen.” Once you have reached the online destination, you can choose the platform from the list or add your own. Then the Chester Cheetah invites to decide which alliance you are joining—Puffs or Crunchy,— create a flag for your army and pick out the ‘enemy’.
