1861United, a Milan-based ad agency, developed the concept to present IKEA’s Bathrooms line. A chemical toilet was set up in the prestigious Tortona area. When people entered the toilet they found a 20 square meter bathroom furnished by IKEA. A poster explained the concept saying: ‘Who said a bathroom should be just a loo?’

It is the first time ever that IKEA Italy advertizes its bathroom collection that included a fully furnished, luxury bathroom, complete with hardwood floors and a shower. For sure, surprised loo visitors who were filmed by a hidden camera will remember it.

Recently, IKEA introduced its new products: Knappa, the digital cardboard camera that is designed to promote the new furniture range and Uppleva, a TV integrated into furniture.
