Lady Gaga Invades Starbucks with ‘Born This Way’ Album

The launch of Lady Gaga’s new album ‘Born this Way’ that took place on May 23,  has given rise to creative collaboration between Gaga and brands like Amazon, Google, Farmville and Belvedere Vodka

Since end of May and through to June 3, Starbucks coffeshops will be witnessing what can be called Gaga invasion. For the first time in the brand’s history, Lady Gaga’s songs will be played in Starbucks locations across the U.S, which is supposed to lure in young audience (but isn’t that supposed to scare off the elder ones as well?). More than that, Starbucks will be selling ‘Born This Way’ to coffee fans as a limited time offer, psfk.com reports.

On May 19, the world’s most powerful celebrity (according to Forbes) jointly with Starbucks launched an online hunt entitled ‘SRCH’ that sees Gaga fans (that call themselves little monsters) hunting for clues across a number of online destinations including Starbucks-operated pages on Twitter, Facebook as well as in Foursquare app for a chance to win a great number of prizes. The ‘SRCH’ winner is said to be awarded with special access to a Lady Gaga concert during her 2012 world tour.

Players may join the game by scanning QR codes available on participating Starbucks locations as well as at Frappuccino.com/srch.

Amazon has been selling the new album for 0.99, which has caused the online giant’s servers to crash, washingtonpost.com reports.
