McDonald’s Promoting ‘Great Tastes of America’ in the UK

McDonald’s has launched a new campaign promoting its burgers in the UK. The four-week ‘Great Tastes of America’ campaign by Leo Burnett is designed to introduce a different American-themed burger each week in McDonald’s restaurants nationwide.

Visitors will get to know different icons from American culture while Texas BBQ, the Chicago Supreme, the Arizona Nacho Grande and the New York Classic burgers are being introduced in restaurants each week.

Le Burnett has created four 30-second spots featuring the same set of characters that will change their outfits every week as they decorate the town with Texan Cowboy gear, Chicago theatre props, Arizona cacti and an iconic New York yellow taxi, says Campaign Live.

The first ad that can be viewed here is promoting the Texas BBQ. It shows cowboy-styled people walking down the street of a British town. The campaign follows the 2010 similar initiative also developed by Leo Burnett.
