Japanese environment seems to inspire Pepsi like nothing else. Shortly after the launch of its Pepsi Baobab, which formula is based on old African beverage recipe, the global soft drink manufacturer unveils a new addition to its crazy Asian portfolio —Pepsi Strong Shot.
Pepsi Japan’s new product is more like an energy drink as it has a higher level of caffeine and can keep you moving longer than other ‘fizzy elixirs’ of ‘cola’ kind. The drink has more CO2 than you may expect, so the producer warns consumers that there is «carbon intensity” and they should “wait 15 seconds» after opening the can in order to let the bubbles ‘go down’ a bit. The message is written in Japanese on a yellow bond at the very top of the 190ml blue can.
