Saatchi & Saatchi develop a romantic story of robot love to promote smart Swiss vacuum cleaners Kobold VR200

Following a multi-level international pitch, Saatchi & Saatchi Düsseldorf have won the project of the Swiss company Vorwerk to promote their high-tech vacuum robots Kobold VR200.

At the heart of the campaign is a story of a small old-school toy robot who falls in love with smart and «busy» Kobold vacuum cleaner. The multi-channel campaign includes TV and online spots, digital content, display ads, social media activation as well as retail marketing strategy, and will roll out across eight key markets: Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, and China.

The warm and emotional story of robot love was produced by the UK production studio Smuggler and directed by Jamie Rafn.

This is the first international campaign for Kobold VR200 with such a span of markets and channels. Watch the Youtube spot below:
