Starbucks Rekindles ahead of Christmas

Starbucks is always among the first to tap into the Christmas frenzy. Annually, the coffee and tea brand introduces its holiday items with the bright and creative design, along with holiday activities, giveaways and apps. This year, the brand is keeping up to the tradition and launches its Starbucks Rekindle page, “Holiday Village,” in the USA, which offers tons of gifts to the local consumers.

Gifts from Starbucks, all season long. The holidays are about spending time with loved ones and of course, giving gifts. Our Holiday Village is a place where you and yours can share seasonal moments and experience the joy of the holidays each and every day,” says the brand on the dedicated page. The destination invites users to explore the virtual environment, discover more about Starbucks holiday offerings including Christmas blend (view the festive seasonal varieties here) and drinks as well as holiday-themed gift cards, and even build a house (they can customize it online with a range of decorations and then share it with their friends on Facebook).

The brand is also giving away a lot of gifts to its fans. For instance, it gives a $5-dollar card to those who by three Starbucks coffee or Tazo Tea products at their grocery store and them redeem online, or provides a consumer with a second one of equal or lesser value for free at participating stores on particular days. In addition, the brand is giving its loyal consumers, members of the Starbucks Rewards system, more prizes including tickets, coffee-machines and gift cards.

Those who log in using their Facebook accounts, can get an access to the Unwrap Gifts section, where Starbucks will be revealing its gifts. So far, users can download the free from the Starbucks Holiday Collection, which features select tracks from the festive album Holidays Rule (17 songs). The free compilation, which can be downloaded here until mid-January, includes tracks by The Civil Wars, The Head and the Heart, Rufus Wainwright featuring Sharon Van Etten, and Fruit Bats. Starbucks will be adding new gifts each week until the holidays.

Starbucks holiday campaigns usually vary by country (while offerings are the same on most markets), with the most hilarious and engaging one traditionally being launched in the USA, where the brand was established.
