Campbell’s® SOUPzavod: Creative Factory Comes to Russia

Creative people at Campbell’s Russia have recently come up with a great idea to establish the branded Star Factory, entitled SOUPzavod, in order to select the best creative minds — artists, visual and graphic designers — nationally.

This non-commercial project is to be a special art platform for communication between creative fellows who are supposed to become the trendsetters in modern arts.

Campbell’s® SOUPzavod competition is organized as a part of «Design Subbotnik» under support of «Seasons» magazine and supervised by ‘campbellization’ gurus: Igor Shulinskiy, Editor in Chief of «Time Out» (Moscow), Alexandr Alekseev, the President of ACDR, Russian modern artist Sergey Shutov and the art critic Faina Balakhovskaya.

The contest is held in 3 steps. The first one includes the presentation of the brand, its 100-year history, values and evolution, the registation of the entrants and tasking them to express their unique brand vision.

The second one is submission of ones’ pieces of art; the third and the last one is about to select the winners and show their masterpieces at the Design Act 2010 art exhibition in Moscow.

The Campbell’s® SOUPzavod Step 1 takes off tomorrow, on May 22, in Moscow at the Flacon design factory, 5 pm, at following address: d. 36, B. Novodmytrovskaya Ul.
