Mars Chocolate North America announced the launch of DOVE® Ice Cream Miniatures “My Mini Moment” contest. Just in time for Mother’s Day, DOVE® Ice Cream is asking women to share their favorite mini moment of escape for a chance to win a sensational mini-grand prize. Women are invited to enter the contest between May 3, 2010, and June 7, 2010.

“The importance of “me-time” for our DOVE® Ice Cream Miniatures consumers prompted us to conduct a survey. Over 400 mothers were surveyed and an astonishing 70 percent of these ultimate multi-taskers are taking time for themselves each day,” said Craig Hall, general manager, Mars Chocolate North America. “This contest celebrates those cherished moments.”

Women are encouraged to submit a photo and short essay representative of their favourite mini escape from their day. A panel of judges will select ten finalists, then the public will vote online for their favourite moment. One deserving grand prize winner can select one of the following prizes: mini-getaway to Napa Valley, spa services for a year, or a mini home makeover.
