Jim Beam announced the first-of-its-kind ‘Live Music Series’—a string of 10 concerts each featuring a different headline artist that has forged a unique and bold path to success. Jim Beam will offer a program that allows legal-aged consumers to choose exclusive song downloads from the Live Music Concert Series.

The Jim Beam Live Music Series artists include: Kid Rock, Bob Schneider, Cold War Kids, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi Band, The Fray, Grace Potter and The Nocturnals, The Hold Steady, Manchester Orchestra, O.A.R. and Richard Ashcroft. Beginning in May, special boxes of Jim Beam and Red Stag by Jim Beam will be marked with offer details and instructions on how to download a total of five Live Music Series tracks from the ten artists on JimBeam.com. Jim Beam is also streaming portions of each Live Music Series concert and exclusive interviews with each artist on JimBeam.com and Pandora.

The Live Music Series builds on Jim Beam’s tradition of groundbreaking music programs. In 2010, the Brand launched a breakthrough consumer program for both the spirits and music industry by offering exclusive Kid Rock music downloads on Jim Beam and Red Stag by Jim Beam special boxes. This year, Jim Beam is boldly expanding its music platform by offering fans a wider selection of exclusive content while providing an array of live performances throughout 2011.

In addition to spotlighting established artists, Jim Beam is proud to continue its tradition of supporting up-and-coming musicians while giving consumers the opportunity to discover new music. On March 18, Kid Rock introduced three emerging artists whom he had handpicked to participate in the program at a private showcase event in Austin, TX—each of the aspiring musicians performed at the Jim Beam ‘Emerging Artist Showcase,’ hosted by Kid Rock and presented by Pandora.
