Nespresso Saves Clooney’s Life and Provides God with Coffee

Hollywood is always ready to supply ad business will the best professionals ever. French McCann Erickson agency and Robet Rodriguez have created a new stunning ad video for Nestlé’s Nespresso featuring George Clooney and John Malkovich.

George Cloony has been working for the brand since 2006 year, and that’s when the first video from Nespresso’s What else? series was shot. The plot of the new ad is astonishing: George, who has just bought a new coffee-machine in the store and is killed by a falling piano on leaving the outlet. The man goes to heaven, makes a nice deal with God (John Malkovich) and returns to the Earth. He is alive again thanks to the super coffee-machine, which is now left on heaven. Helen Lindes, Miss Spain’2000 and one of the best models, has starred as a shop-girl.

Creative ads have always attracted lots of film directors. There are numbers of those who started with advertising and tried it after several feature films. Among those who stepped into the world of extra-short movies are Ridley (Alien), Scott Guy Ritchie (RocknRolla), Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted), David Fincher (Fight Club), David Lynch (The Elephant Man) and Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind). The last one on the list (but not the least, of course) has also made the pioneer video with Clooney for this ad line.
