Nestlé Chocolate Brand Looking for ‘Roloyal’ Couple

Just in time for St.Valentine’s Day, Nestlé-owned chocolate brand Rolo announced a contest for all the fans of its products in UK. From February 10 and over the 6 weeks, the brand will be loooking for the ‘Roloyal couple’. All those interested in participating are welcome to share their photos and stories on Facebook.

The winning couple will receive ‘Rolo-yal’ treatment for a weekend, a chance to enjoy a chauffeur-driven trip around London and will spend a night in one of the top hotels of the city. The grand prize winners will be announced in April, whereas the authors of the most notable stories and photos will be rewarded on a weekly basis with smaller prizes including weekend breaks and ‘Rolo-yal’ wedding memorabilia, such as cups and tea towels.

Rolo, a Nestlé-owned brand of chocolate coated caramel, is distributed in the UK, Canada, Germany, Holland and Belgium and has a strong link to romance in the consumer’s mind thanks to the brand’s slogan ‘Do you love anyone enough to give them your last Rolo?’.

Ally Ross, assistant brand manager for Rolo in the UK and Ireland, said: «In 2010, we invited fans to send someone their ‘virtual’ last Rolo via Facebook. The brilliant response showed us how much people like to engage with the brand and share their stories. This year, they will have even more opportunities to tell us about someone special. We expect to hear about partners, mums, grandparents, friends, and even pets!”
