Red Bull UK Invites Fans to Solve Puzzles on Pinterest as Part of the «Imaginate» Project

Red Bull UK uses Pinterest in its new micro-project Imaginate dedicated to cyclist Danny MacAskill and his excellent skills. The brand is inviting pinners to solve a series of puzzles based on the Imaginate videos that celebrate Danny’s talent and the power of will.

To take part in the experience users should first view a series of six films, in which Mr. MacAskill performs in some dangerous stunts, and then proceed to the Pinterest section, where they are asked to re-pin the pieces from “an epic image of Danny in action” in the correct order. Participants are to create their own boards with the images, and then tweet the link to @RedBullUK including the hashtag #Imaginate. Those who compile pinboards with all the images in the correct order, enter in a draw for a chance to get the framed pictures of Danny in action, signed by the cyclist. There will be a new image for each episode, and six winners, respectively.

In a similar fashion, the auto brand Buick has recently summed up the results of the Pinterest campaign entitled “Pinboard to Dashboard”, aimed to crowdsource design concepts for the interior and exterior of the Buick Encore.
