Reebok Invites Filmmakers from around the Globe to Develop the “Live with Fire” Theme

Reebok is encouraging international filmmakers to create films, based on the “live with fire” philosophy. The legendary fitness brand has partnered with the international crowd sourcing agency Mofilm to launch the new “Reebok Live with Fire” project, which is rolled out globally in two phases.

The contestants are invited to create “films that celebrate true stories of inspirational people who live every day with passion, intent and purpose through fitness and creativity,” for a chance to be invited to SXSW or Cannes Lions. Filmmakers can participate in the competition during the first or second phase, which have the same submission conditions except for the deadlines (February 18 and May 28 correspondingly). The suggested length of the video is 90 seconds, but contestant can go as far long as they need (read the briefs to learn more about the competition)

The winner of the first phase will get an exclusive trip for two to SXSW (Austin, Texas) in March and the winner of the second phase (with his or her friend) will head to Cannes in June. Plus, major winners will walk away with $8,000, while the prizes for runners-up will range from $1,000 to $4,000 “By submitting your video you have an opportunity to become part of Team Reebok. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of the Brand’s Filmmaker Roster to work on future ‘Reebok Live With Fire Project’ stories/productions that will be picked and funded by the Brand,” says Reebok.
