Snickers Peanutbutter Squared Call Facebook Users to Upgrade their ‘Likes’ to ‘Loves’

To celebrate the release of new Snickers Peanutbutter Squares, Mars Chocolate North America has rolled out a new Facebook application that allows users to change the ‘Like’ button on their profile page into ‘Love’ button. This tool is a part of the online campaign aimed at attracting more Facebook users to the page dedicate to the newly-released Snickers Peanut Butter Squared.

The new product that consists of two square pieces is available in most mass, food and convenience stores and farmacies across the United States at a recommended price of $.89.

When it comes to classic SNICKERS® flavor of peanuts, caramel, nougat and milk chocolate PLUS the great taste of peanut butter, one cannot just like those things, you’re supposed to LOVE them. And, as Mars team believe that «if you like peanut butter and chocolate, you’ll love peanut butter and SNICKERS®.» So, they’re inviting all those who have a sweet tooth, to visit Snickers Facebook fan page and turn their Facebook Likes into Loves with just one click.

Also, based on the number of user ‘Love’, the campaign initiators has made up a list of the ‘Most Loved Content on Facebook’ that is available to everybody who activates the application and turns ‘Like’ button into ‘Love’ button.

Last weekend, Facebook has returned its ‘Send’ button that allows users to share the content they like with the selected number of Facebook friends and Facebook groups. ‘Send’ button is available to the right of ‘Like’ button.
