Starbucks is encouraging its customers to buy more and get rewarded for things they purchase. Every time you visit Starbucks chain and use a registered card, you get 1 star. Collecting the stars, the consumers heighten their level and receive more and more benefits.
Fist, a customer signs up on the website, registers his or her card and starts collecting stars. There are 3 levels, with the Gold one being the top.
At the Welcome level you get a free handcrafted birthday beverage of your own choice for the birthday and up to 2 continuous hours of free Wi-Fi a day for comfortable surfing while sipping coffee at Starbucks.
Once you have earned your first 5 stars, you get to the Green level and get free beverage customization (like syrup and milk options) as well as free refills on brewed coffee. You also get free beverages when buy 1 lb of whole bean coffee pack. Starbucks also provides the Green card owners with free trials of its new production.
To advance to the Gold level you have to collect 30 stars, but this is really worth it: a free beverage with every new 15 stars, a personalized Starbucks Card and special offers of the things you like best of all.
