Mars Chocolate North America is hosting a Dove® Chocolate Football Party in Times Square, New York City today, on September 13, to commemorate the opening of the NFL Season on the first Monday Night Football game of the year. The event will showcase new ways for fans and non-fans alike to enjoy the football season by inviting women to make his football time her «me time» with silky smooth Dove Chocolate. The event will be co-hosted by Holly Robinson Peete, actress, philanthropist and wife of former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete.

The brand knows that football season is back in full swing and love it or leave it, “game day” is a significant part of many women’s lives. For those who enjoy the games and even those who find creative ways around them, Dove Chocolate wants to be a special part of the experience by showing women how to make football season hers.

Holly Robinson Peete will officiate over the festivities in Times Square. Attendees of the free event will have the opportunity to taste new, exclusive product samples and unique “tailgate-style” party dishes.  Guests can also play themed games for prizes that include Dove Chocolate stadium blankets and totes and will even have an opportunity to win tickets to the first official New York Jets game of the season in their new stadium that evening.
