CARTILS Refreshes Baltika’s Xirdalan Branding for the Eurovision

Being appointed a new sponsor for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Azerbaijan, Baltika Baku Brewery has introduced a completely new design for its popular local brand Xirdalan, created by CARTILS.

‘We feel very proud for Azerbaijan to win the Eurovision Song Contest and believe it is going to be very special in 2012. Our sponsorship is part of Xirdalan’s new brand strategy that aims to make Azerbaijani beer lovers enjoy the event to the full and for this we are planning to run more activations around the contest next year’, comments A.A. Tlehurai, CEO Baltika Baku.

For the project CARTILS has redesigned the label, the bottle shape, created new POS materials and developed all marketing communications. The refreshed Xirdalan targets the modern generation of active beer drinkers.
