After launching a limited set of its revolutionary Glass to a select number of consumers, Google have made another contribution to the wearable electronics trend. The tech giant has partnered with adidas to create a pair of shoes that come to be a true walking-and-talking sneaker. The digitally-enhanced product was unveiled at the SXSW Conferences&Festivals, taking place in Austin, TX, March 8-17.

Google has launched a new project Art, Copy & Code, which aims to infuse advertisement of global brands with the latest digital technology. The new effort comes as a follow-up to the last year’s successful initiative Project Re: Brief that recreated some of the most iconic advertising campaigns of such brands as Volkswagen, Burberry and adidas, with innovative tech tools.

adidas Originals has launched its new global multi-platform campaign entitled “Unite All Originals”. The effort is designed to inspire the brand’s fans through a series of truly unconventional music and visual art pieces by international creatives from various areas. The major online hub for the 2013 brand campaign unveils a so-called “adidas collider” that serves the most original mixed content from artists, who unite to create something very special.

Adidas is energizing its global community by launching a new movement dedicated to the world famous socker player, Lionel «Leo» Messi. With the campaign, launched on March 1, the brand brings its fans together to celebrate the athlete, who is the also an adidas’s ambassador. The new effort aims to promote the Messi Collection range that includes the latest shoe, adizero f50 Messi boot inspired by Leo’s style.

adidas is re-imagining the holiday classics, “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, by launching a video titled The Cautionary Tale of Ebenezer Snoop, a story of “love, loss, regret and redemption of Ebenezer Snoop as he rediscovers his lost holiday spirit.” The brand’s Holiday 2012 Campaign new video, which will be available on November 26, features a roster of global celebrities including Snoop Lion (Ebenezer Snoop), Stan Smith (Ghost of Holiday Past), David Beckham (Present) and Derrick Rose & Rita Ora (Future) as well as other adidas celebrity faces, who will make cameo appearances—Jeremy Scott, Joe Tsonga, Dwight Howard and Andy Murray to name but a few. The film, which centers around the legendary holiday story, will help users take a fresh look at their own life and see if they are more Scrooge or Cratchit, bad or good.

adidas has kicked off the Little Performers program, which is scientifically aimed  to footwear specifically for infants. adidas has invited a renowned international expert in infant footwear Prof. Dr. Markus Walther, Medical Director of the Centre for Foot and Ankle Surgery at Schön Klinik, München-Harlaching and FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence to contribute to the program.
